Mounjaro can lead to side effects, which you can consider in your shot time.
Reverse Engineer for you when should you take Mounjaro. This will be different for everyone.
After -68lbs (so far!) of Mounjaro weight loss in almost 11 months, I take my Mounjaro injection at 2-3pm as I want to sleep through part of my Mounjaro side effects and also will still be getting peak serum benefits of Mounjaro appetite suppression.

The time that is best for you…when taking into account your peak serum times and also Mounjaro side effects.
For some people, they can get more tired taking Mounjaro and for others can lead to insomnia. I’ve had both on my Mounjaro (almost) 11 month journey.
The other variable is when your peak serum times is a range. It can vary from 8-72 hours.
That peak serum time can vary quite a bit from 1/3 of a day to 3 days!
For me, the Mounjaro success I’ve had is being open to testing in the morning, afternoon and evening. I found my sweet-spot is 2-3pm in the afternoons.
I wake up the next day having slept well and also not hungry until the afternoon.
One thing to keep in mind is just because you don’t have one side effect on one dose doesn’t mean you won’t have another side effect on another dose.
Mounjaro Morning Or Night
Titrating up is another factor I do take into account. I give myself a large buffer on higher dose days for recovery from side effects.
Even with changing dose days, I still take my Mounjaro injection at 2-3pm.
Mounjaro morning or night can vary with peak serum times, side effects and titrating up doses.
At nighttime, I do take magnesium to help me sleep a little bit better and also with magnesium benefits.
Best Time Of Day To Take Mounjaro?
Tip 1: Look at your schedule. Do you have family commitments, work commitments or personal commitments that are important to you? Yes? You will factor this in for taking your first shot.
Tip 2: Look at your schedule. Do you have any important lunch, dinner, party or food central events? Yes? You can factor this into your first shot date.
Ideally, you share with important people that you may not be as hungry and feel free to indulge without you engaging in old habits.
This gives friends and/or family permission to not change their habits. And allows you to stay focused on your new habits without feeling guilt. (No guilt, shame or condemenation here friends!)

I have lost -67lbs on Mounjaro and have been on Mounjaro for almost 41 weeks (so far!).
I usually feel Mounjaro starting 12 hours after I take my Mounjaro injection.

Always talk to your doctor about changing from seven days to less or more days for your Mounjaro injection.
And also as I increase in Mounjaro doses, my times may change:
- Mounjaro 2.5mg (Starting dose and lowest dose)
- Mounjaro 5 mg
- Mounjaro 7.5mg
- Mounjaro 10mg
- Mounjaro 12.5mg
- Mounjaro 15mg (Highest dose)
This does not mean I won’t get Mounjaro side effects with that particular dose as I titrate up.
