The best part with this freezer bag meals is you can make in advance for one person, multiple people or multiple meal prep meals. This nutritious, delicious sauce with chicken has so much protein that you can make with ingredients for whatever your preference is.
The delicious protein meal have been a perfect Mounjaro meal on my -79lb (so far!) Mounjaro weight loss journey.
Chicken Lemon Crock Pot

The crockpot lemon chicken can be made a few different ways than my recipe below. You could also add if you wished:
- Fresh lemon or store bought lemon juice
- Fresh Parsley
- Served over white rice, egg noodles or a green salad
- Lemon Zest added
- Italian dressing mix
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
Crockpot Lemon Chicken

Personally, I want a protein-packed meal with least amount of calories, so I simply do the quick freezer recipe below.

Slow Cooker Lemon Chicken
Equipment
- 1 Slow Cooker
- 2 Large Ziploc Bags
Ingredients
- 3 Lbs Chicken Thighs or Chicken Breasts
- 4 Teaspoons Greek Seasoning or Italian Seasoning
- 4 Minced Garlic Cloves
- 1/3 cup Lemon Juice
- 2 Teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
- Open both large Ziploc bags as you will be making two, separate freezer bags. Simply divide ingredients into two.
- Add 1.5 lbs of chicken to one bag and 1.5 lbs of chicken to the other Ziploc bag.
- Add two teaspoons of Greek seasoning or Italian seasoning to each bag.
- Add two minced Garlics to each bag.
- Divide 1/3 cup of lemon juice into two bags (1/6 cup in each bag).
- Add 1 teaspoon of Dijon Mustard, 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt and 1/4 cup of olive oil to each bag.
- Massage ingredients together into each ziploc bag.
- Lay the Ziploc bag flat so you can stack easily into freezer.
- Label bag with sharpie with LEMON CHICKEN and today's date. Put used by date 3 months out from today's date.
- Put into freezer.
- Once you are ready to cook, the night before take out of freezer and thaw in fridge.
- Take out of the fridge morning of and put into slow cooker. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high 5-6 hours.
- Shred chicken when ready to eat. Perfect to put onto of vegetables like broccoli or green beans. You could also plate onto of cooked rice.

The high protein meal can be made with different flavors or however you like the perfect way. My favorite way is over sheet pan veggies like my BEST GREEN BEANS RECIPE or BEST BROCCOLI RECIPE.
