Equipment

  • Waffle Cooker (I'm using DASH Waffle Maker)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Protein Waffle Mix (I used Kodiak)
  • 6 ounces Breakfast Chicken Sausage (I'm loving Amylu currently)
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • Cooking Nonstick Spray (I'm using Pam currently)

Instructions
 

  • Heat up waffle maker.
  • Mix all ingredients together to make protein waffle mixer, except Breakfast Chicken Sausage.
  • Chop Breakfast Chicken Sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  • Spray nonstick cooking spray onto hot waffle maker.
  • Scoop 1 spoonful of protein waffle mixer onto hot griddle.
  • Add 1/6 of your chopped up Breakfast Chicken Sausages to put on top of waffle mixer.
  • Add another spoonful of the protein waffle mixer on top. Close waffle maker.
  • Cooker for 5-6 minutes or until crispy.
  • Makes 6 protein waffles. Stays fresh for 2 days in airtight container. Freeze leftovers for quick breakfast or snack.
